Install + ROOT Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Oficial Final Galaxy S2 XWLS8 Tutorial

This is a tutorial to install the official firmware 4.1.2 FINAL Jelly Bean XWLS8 our Samsung Galaxy S2, is valid for the i9100 model.

Before doing anything, preliminary steps:

• All data, contacts, photos, music, videos and deleted SMS. It is advisable that you make a copy of all the data:
• To copy SMS - Can Use "SMS Backup"
• Contacts - the ideal is to have them synchronized with your Gmail account
• Music, Videos, Files - Copy to SD Card or PC
• Anotate APN settings and MMS Applications> Settings> Wireless controls> Mobile networks> APN
• Advisable to have the battery fully charged, at least above 50 percent.
• Do not disconnect the device during the process, or turning off the PC, wait to finish everything.
• This process should be carried out only on the Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100) and not on other versions.
• It acts at your own risk.

Make cleaning OPTIONAL:

If you wear the ROM is currently very full of data and applications and want to clean everything before installing the new version you need to go into recovery (volume up + home + power) and do a "wipe data factory reset"

This is highly recommended especially if you come from different previous versions, as cyanogenmod or AOKP, or if you have many apps and want to do a clean install.

Once done the optional cleaning ....

We started the INSTALLATION

• Activate USB debugging
• We turn off the device
• We start in download mode (volume down + home + power)
• Connect to PC via USB cable
• Started ODIN
• If you do not recognize the device you must install the USB drivers you downloaded
• Then hit the PDA box, select the file with tar.md5 we downloaded and unzipped.
• We make sure that the box is off Re-partition
• Press START and wait for it to finish and reboot only.

Rooting the device:

• We turn off the device
• We started in recovery mode (volume up + home + power)
• Aply update from external storage
• Select ClockworkMod Recovery v4.0.1.5 (i9100). Zip
• Install ZIP from sdcard
• Choose zip from sdcard
• Root + Busybox + select-by-veloz46.zip Supersu. and confirm
• go back and restart
